Lightroom classis an Widows 11

How do I get lightroom to run on Widows 11? The error is 0x8007016A which deals with Onedrive, I tried what was suggested which was to remove the CURRENT file. I can't remove it but I can rename it, but when I try to run the program it just recreates the file and I get the error again.

First up, did you manage to install Adobe Creative Cloud, and then Lightroom Classic? Yes

Assuming that was accomplished. When does this error show up? While starting Lightroom Classic? While starting LRc

And are you creating a first time catalog, or a new catalog, or attempting to open an existing catalog? This I don't know I'm gessing is is trying to open an existing one for the catalog but making a new one for the CURRENT file. Like I said the directions have you delete the CURRENT file, but I can't it's locked but I can rename it. When I do that and restart LRc it creates a new CURRENT file and I still get the eorrer.

And is this catalog on OneDrive? Yes

P.S. Avoid the OneDrive with a LrC catalog. And you may want to avoid using the Windows Pictures folder fir that, as OneDrve can foul that up. Recommend that you create a separate folder fir the catalog.  So do I just create this new folder in OneDrive in a different location? So if I create this new folder in a diferent location than Pictures how will the LRc program know where to look for the new folder. And what about the other files in the original folder are they needed or will the program make new ones? I hope this makes sense.

Thanks for your help.

New folder on your hard disk, that is not synched with OneDrive, and definitely not a new Folder in OneDrive. The advice is to stop putting the catalog file and photos in a folder that is synched with OneDrive. Once you move the photos, you can reconnect them in LrC via these instructions (see the section entitled "Part 2 — Updating Folder Location): https://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm

P.S. Avoid the OneDrive with a LrC catalog. Avoid it like a Plague. Oh, some will say OneDrive and LrC is made in heaven, that IMO is wrong.  And you may want to avoid using the Windows Pictures folder for that, as OneDrve can foul that up. Speaking of OneDrive and LrC being a match made in heaven, vs hell. see:
