Lightroom closes when trying to tether

Hi,

my lightroom goes into not responding as soon as I try to create a new tethered capture or the app simply closes. I've got a new macbook pro with Monterey v 12.5.1 and lightroom is updated to the latest version 12.2.1 (Apple Silicon/Intel).

Please help! Thank you

    There is no such Mac as 'Apple Silicon/Intel' and Macs' since October/November 2022 shipped with Ventura as standard. Therefore, to ensure that we are providing you with  valid information/guidance it would be helpful to have a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be opbtained from the LrC Help > System Info menu item

     This is what it is says when I hoover over LrC on Adobe Suite.  
    Below are my System Info

    Your System Info shows you are on an Apple Silicon Mac, Mac OS 12.5.1, LR 12.2.1.  

     

    When you try to start tethering, are you asked to restart LR under Rosetta mode, as described here:
