Lightroom crashes at startup

My lightroom crashes as soon as i start the program, sometimes i can get in to the app, but only for a few minutes then it crashes.

I use a Macbook pro. I have tried to reinstall lightroom, and i have tried the older version, but the same happends.

These are the messages i get :

"An error occurred when attempting to change modules" & "Lightroom encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit."


Any ideas?

    Hi frodea30719671,

    Sorry that you're getting an error message "Lightroom encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit." when you open Lightroom. Which exact version of Lightroom are you using?

    Please review this help article Lightroom error on preview cache or displays gray thumbnails  to troubleshoot the issue you're facing.
