Lightroom Crashes When I go to the Preferences Tab

I am using Mac, Sonoma 14.6 and Lightroom Classic 14.4 release. I recently moved my catalogue from the cloud to my hard drive to speed things up. Now I have no images and LR crashes if I hit the "Catalogue" tab in preferences. I have disabled GPU, cleared my cache and freed us masses of space on my hard drive. I am now at my wits end, I can't even try another catalogue as LR crashes if I go to that window. Any suggestions? Please keep it simple, this is not my forte. It's driving me crazy.

I couldn't find crash reports submitted with the account you've signed in to the community with. If you see a crash dialogue, submit it with your Adobe ID. Check here for more steps: https://adobe.ly/3Wpjx0B

Here is a primary step you can try:

Reset Lightroom Classic following the second (manual) method from this article: https://adobe.ly/4fOPxm4
