Lightroom Crashing at start

Question

I recently updated to Mac Os 15.1.1 (24B91). Now my lightroom classic quits upon start up. It doesn't even open the app. it just shows the startup screen then immediately shuts down. I tried uninstalling it and reinstallingn it via the creative coud app, but it still doesn't work. Any help please?

Hey, @maryd59954775. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out. I couldn't find crash reports submitted with the account you've signed in to the community with. If you see a crash dialogue, submit it with your Adobe ID. In addition to Lightroom crashing, check the Processes in the Activity Monitor (macOS) for unexpected read/write operations.

To begin troubleshooting, test some variables like:

Unplug any external peripherals & use wired input devices.
Unplug external drives.
Temporarily, unplug extra displays & only keep one active at a time.
