Lightroom crashing when editing with PS

I recently purchases a Lenovo P72 laptop. It's running Windows 10 64bit; 16 gigs of DDR, on a i7 8th gen procesor. I loaded the latest versions of LR (8.2) and Photoshop (20.0.4).

I encounter a problem when I'm in LR and choose to "EDIT IN" Photoshop: I clean up some stuff with the clone tool, maybe I play a little bit with the Camera Raw Filter, and then I go to save these changes and go back to LR and PS and LR both freeze and I get a crash pop up.

When I run them individually I encounter no problems.

For the first try please switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ

Another try is to reset the Lightroom preferences: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

If this doesn't help please post the exact error message that you get. If possible please post a screenshot.

Thank you for your response! I did as was suggested in the guide you gave me and I tried 1st solution, shutting down the Graphic Accelerator, and the problem went away! Thank you for taking the time to respond! I appreciate your help!
