Lightroom does not start and needs Repair of Microsoft Visual C++

For the past few months I find my LR suddenly refuses to start and I have to repair the Microsoft Visual C++ libraries. this has been going on for many weeks. Why is this not resolved yet?

Hi

You have posted in the Photoshop forum. Do you use Lightroom or Lightroom Classic? Once you confirm, I will move your post to the correct forum.

As an aside, if something is corrupting your Visual C++ runtime libraries that can be happening outside of Lightroom itself. I use Lightroom Classic daily and have never seen such corruption here.
