Lightroom edits reverting upon export
Yesterdy I was editing some photos for an engagement and came upon a problem that I can't seem to figure out... After exporting the finished, edited photos to my computer, I uploaded the pictures to my Google Drive. Next, I downloaded the pictures from Google Drive onto my phone so that I could post to Social Media, however, once I upload the pictures into Instagram/Facebook, I can visibly see the color corrections / adjustments being removed from the image. What I am left with is a completely un-edited image. I have also had clients report this problem when I deliver pictures over Google Drive as well.
I have had a similar problem with this when delivering my pictures to clients through a USB flashdrive as well. Once the pictures were exported to my computer, I copied them into a flashdrive and hand-delivered the flashdrive to a client. When the client went to upload these pictures into a webpage editor for their wedding website, the edits were also erased and it was left looking like I hadn't done any editing after all.
I've found a workaround for this issue with my own personal pictures, but haven't been able to figure it out for my clients who I share pictures with either via flashdrive or through cloud based services like Google Drive or Dropbox... If I upload the pictures directly to Adobe Creative Cloud after exporting them to my computer, then download the pictures from Creative Cloud to my phone, the edits will NOT be erased once sent over to Instagram/Facebook.
Any help would be appreciated.
