lightroom export settings

hi, i have my raw file straight from my memory card and have airdropped it to my iphone - it is clear, sends great through social media apps (messenger, instagram DM etc) and its clear on the other end when its sent.

i also have a version thats the exact same raw file type but its now being exported from lightroom. i have youtubed, read forums on all the types of export settings (whats best for social media, and then what settings to use for prints etc). I have exported at almost every possible way from lightroom to get it to be clear on devices and when its being sent to people but as soon as i export it seems to drop the brightness a tiny bit and it comes out really grainy. the image will not look grainy when i send it but it comes out so different to the plain raw file when they receive the image. not sure if that made sense but can someone please explain to me the export settings and what settings i should always be on for social media side of it because i cant work it out!!!

Something in the Chain is lowering the quality of the images. I suspect it is the email or messaging program you are using.

With Text you don't have much control. With Email you may. you need to check the settings in each program so they don't reduce the quality.

It could really help here if you could post a couple of zoomed screen shots (for grain comparison and brightness comparison.

Are you using a custom user preset for this?

Are you going through a third party plugin to the social media directly from Lightroom?

    Can you show us a screen capture of the original unedited RAW photo; and also a screen capture of the exported edited photo? Both photos need to be at the same magnification.

    Better yet, can you provide us the original RAW file and exported file via uploading them to DropBox or similar service and then providing links for us?

      i have exported as jpeg (everytime), ive tried changing the "quality", ive ticked and unticked "resize to fit", ive tried changing the "pixels", changing to "long edge", tried changing the "resolution", tried using the "sharpen for" and ticking the "screen" option and im always using "sRGB"
