Lightroom exporting error - shutdown

Question

I'm a Creative Cloud subscriber. Starting yesterday Lightroom abruptly quits each time I try to export one or more files (within 3 seconds). I have the latest version of Lightroom and I'm running it on my Mac, OS Monterey. I restarted my computer - no luck. After several tries I shut it down for the night and retried today. Still no luck. It shuts down every time.

I've been a Lightroom user for many years and have never had this problem.

Hey @PhotoDougPDX. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out. Are you using presets for export? Share a screenshot of your export settings.

Try these steps:

Ensure Lightroom Classic has the required permissions on the macos: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/quick-tips-how-to-give-full-disk-access-to-lightroom-classic-on-macos/td-p/12913413
Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor > Set it off if it is on Custom or Auto. If this shows you any differences, please check this article to troubleshoot further: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html
