Question

Lightroom files I am not sure I need

I am trying to free up space on my computer, and the majority of the large files taking up space are Lightroom, and I am unsure whether or not they are necessary. I am not very tech savvy. Would someone be able to explain what these files are and if they are necessary? I have attached screenshots of the large files taking up space.

What disk contains the photos? The same disk as the catalog, or somewhere else?

The catalog is on my internal disk on my computer and my photos arte held on an external hardrive.

Unfortunately, your screen capture does not show all files in the folder, ideally in one print screen.

From what I see, you are probably working with the v13-3 catalog currently. So, you probably won't need anything older and may delete v13, v13-2 and v12 files.

I have attached screen shots of what I have in my pictures folder on my computer which hold most of my lightroom info. I checked and apparently my current catalog is the v13-3 the one which you pointed out. I have noticed that the other files such as v13, v13-2 and v12 are all still rather large around files around 1.08GB  like my current catalog which is around 1.12GB. If I delete those other files will I lose any photos, or as long as i don't delete my current catalog I am good?
