Lightroom gallery not working after update to 12.4

Lightroom updated this morning to 12.4.  Now the gallery modual doesn't work.  The "Update Web Gallery" progress bar gets stuck about 1/4 of the way and I can't do anything, including change the words on the web page template.    Using Venture 13.4 on a cheese grater Mac Pro.
Anyone?
