Lightroom GPU export- can the GPU speed up preview rendering?

Question

I love how much faster the export is with the latest support for GPU accelerated exporting. I am thinking of going from a 3060 to a 3080. Has any one tested different GPUs to see how much of an increase you might expect.

Also-- are things like preview rendering, smart preview creation also sped up by the GPU?
