lightroom grain/noise

can anyone help me understand why this is happening? my photos will suddenly turn into this weird grainy mess if i try to click on the next photo or go back to one i was previously working on. im using lightroom classic and this seems to happen at random, not any one particular photo triggers this.

The menu bar on the right of your screen capture isn't from Lightroom Classic. Please post this in the "Lightroom (Ecosystem)" forum instead of the Lightroom Classic forum.

    Please do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.
