Lightroom hangs when navigating menus

Issue:

Whenever I open menus in Lightroom Classic the menu freezes and the applications appears to hang. If I'm really patient it will recover and I can navigate some more menus before the next freeze.

The normal operations like library, developing, ... work perfectly. As long as I don't need something that isn't hidden behind a (context) menu. Needless to say that this makes it nigh impossible to work with LrC right now.

There is no actual crash, or true application freeze so there's no logs of what's going wrong. Unless LrC has logs I'm not aware of.

Any hints as to what I could try are really appreciated!

I've tried previous versions up until LrC 11.x

Resetted settings

Created a fresh catalog

Updated drivers to the latest.

Switched between studio, and game ready drivers

Version: LrC 12.4

OS: Win 10 22H2

GPU: RTX 2080

Drivers: Studio 536.67 (released on 2023-07-18)
