Lightroom- INSTALLER NOT AVAILABLE??

I recently wiped my Mac, on my account it shows the version of lightroom I had (lightroom 6) i click to install it and it asks for windows or Mac but it says installer is no longer available. WHY cant i redownload my purchase i made years ago, WHY am i being forced to upgrade, WHY am i being forced to purchase the SAME thing again, WHY do i have to pay monthly? Before I wiped my computer it worked perfectly, why cant i just re-install it, and if i can how do I??

    Until December 31, you can download the installer for LR 6.14 here:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/lightroom-6-end-of-support.html

    If you have a recent Mac OS, you will not be able to install it, because the installer is 32-bit.

    I'm not a Mac user, so I can't say exactly what OS version you'll need to be able to install it.

      To run a 32-bit program such as the LR 6.14 installer, you'll need Mac OS 10.14 or earlier.
