Lightroom kann Katalog nicht starten

"Lightroom kann diesen Katalog nicht starten. Er befindet sich entweder auf einem Netzlaufwerk oder auf einem Laufwerk, auf dem Lightroom keine Änderungen speichern kann."

Was bedeutet und worauf bezieht sich diese Fehlermeldung. Der Bezug auf Netzwerk ist unzutreffend, der zweite Teil möglich - aber andere Programmen, Daten lassen sich problemlos auf dem System speichern. Welche spezifische Anforderung stellt LR an den Datenträger?

    LR can only open and use a catalog that is store on a drive that is connected directly to the computer that LR is running on.

    It can't open a catalog file stored on a networked drive.

    This is not a answer to my problem, read my question, LR works for many

    years at the same place, I made no chancing: what will LR say to me?

    Check the status of the drive and folder that contains the catalog and ensure that somehow the status hasn't been changed to read-only.
