Question

Lightroom lens profile automatically match problem for Panorama

Hello !

When I make a Panorama, Lightroom marks an alert that says "Unable to match lens profile automatically. For best results, apply the appropriate lens profile to the photos before merging."

=> So I went to "Develop -> Lens Corrections" = There I can see that on all the pictures it has applied the lens correction with the correct Lens Profile...

- I have the and up to date version of Lightroom Classic CC, 7.1 Release, Camera Raw 10.1.

- Camera = Sony A7R III

- Lens = Sony FE 24-240mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS

I am able to make the Panoramas but would like to be sure this is not affecting the result and ideally get rid of the alert.

What is the mistake ? Problem ? Many thanks in advance for your input.

Kevin

Just a thought, I notice the lens you are referring to is a zoom lens, are all the images included in the merge captured at the same zoom settings? e.g. all at say 24mm?

Your Lightroom version isn't up-to-date. The newest version is 7.2. Please update your Lightroom and try again.
