Question

Lightroom licensing question...

One of my photo club members has convinced me that it's time to consider Lightroom (Classic).

Here's the question:  I work with two computers, both running Windows:  A workstation and a laptop, for on-the-road work.

The question is:  Does a license allow me to have Lightroom installed on both?

Thanks!

Steve

In fact you can 'Install' Adobe Apps on as many computers as you like. But as stated by @Lauca you can only have two installs 'Activated' and working.   (eg. Three installs-  Two Activated + One deactivated)

How many computers can I use my Creative Cloud subscription?

Be aware that Lightroom-Classic does NOT sync a Catalog between two computers, so consider the Desktop and Laptop as entirely separate entities, unless you use work-arounds such as sharing one catalog between the two systems.

MULTIPLE COMPUTERS- How to use (Lightroom Queen)

I use my laptop for travel (and workshops), and if I want 'work' on my laptop incorporated to my desktop catalog, I use the [Import from another Catalog] function to merge the data.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.3, Photoshop 27.5, ACR 18.3, Lightroom 9.3, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.3 .

Yes, the actual licensing of Lightroom allows LR to be installed and activated on 2 computers at the same time.
