Lightroom mob and lightroom classic: syncing

I've used lightroom classic for many years and lightroom mobile for a couple.  If I downloaded photos direct to the mobile version i.e. on iPad, it used to automatically file the full version onto my lightroom classic hard drive folder locations. Also,  I created a new folder on the iPad Lightroom and it's not appearing on my iMac lightroom, classic lightroom, or iPhone.
