Lightroom Mobile - Continous crash - useless app

Trying to use Lightroom mobile on an NVidia Shield tablet (The Tegra K1 powered one).

This is a high powered android graphics tablet from NVidia with a Tegra graphics processor so it should be able to handle lightroom mobile.

Open LIghtroom

Press Add Photo

Crash

Format SD Card (128 GB lots of space). Just import 10 NEF raw photos from Nikon D7200 DSLR camera.

Open LIghtroom

Press Add Photo

Crash

Open LIghtroom

Change settings in lightroom. Select import Only Raw. Auto add Only Raw

Press  Add Photo

Crash

Open LIghtroom

Change settings in lightroom. Select import Only Raw. Disable Auto Add

Press Add Photo

Crash

Restart tablet twice.

Open LIghtroom

Press Add Photo

Crash

Should I continue ?

Why did whichever idiot who programmed this app - Make the decision that when you click add Photo it should auto scan android internal folders, find many small images in google photos cache or whatever. Try to load those and crash. Especially when: "Change settings in lightroom. Select import Only Raw. Disable Auto Add"

Extremely bad application programming.

A Tablet is NOT a PC.

Hi,

I see that this issue was raised on Nov 10th and out latest build 2.2.1 was out on Nov 12th. So try upgrading to latest version and check if this issue is still occurring.

Thanks.

Two years later and the app is still useless...

Opening synced photos from desktop in LR CC with brush strokes, radial or graduated filter causes crash after waiting ages on a spinning icon to load the photo... always reported on each crash yet Adobe seems to be ignoring the issue.

I wont be ignoring my subscription renewal this year end. ACDsee is a viable alternative.

The Lightroom Mobile help page says that Lightroom Mobile runs on Android phones. It doesn't say anything about support for Android tablets. That is probably why it doesn't work.
