Lightroom mobile to Lightroom classic

Hi,

 

I have been using Lightroom mobile and would now like to use Lightroom classic. Can someone please explain how I can import the photos from mobile into classic while keeping the same folder names?

 

I've tried synchronising but it just seems to import the photos with no file structure.

Hey @seanmsn. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic community. I'll help you get started with the sync workflow.

 

What version of Lightroom Classic & the Lightroom mobile are you working on?

 

Lightroom mobile's albums, when synced to Lightroom Classic, become collections. The images should still appear in the collections as saved in Lightroom mobile once synced completely.

 

Your Albums should appear like this:

 

The locally stored copies through Lightroom Classic would not follow the folder structure you have in collections/albums.
