Question

Lightroom not showing all photos

The catalog shows 42069 against All Photographs.

When I select All Photographs it shows 39444 of 42069 in the toolbar.

The same happens in most of my folders.

For instance, one folder shows 574 in the catalog, but when I select this folder, it shows 343 of 474 in the toolbar.

When I look at the folder in the Finder it shows 569 items.

I can see photos in the Finder that are not showing in Lightroom but there seems no way of getting them into Lightroom.

I can't see your screen captures. Please use the "Insert Photos" icon to show screen captures instead of using file attachments.

If the numbers in LrC don't seem to show everything, try this

  1. Turn off all filters
  2. Expand all stacks (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)

Actually, those screenshots are useless.

'Author needs to post entire screen, not just those itty bits. Need to see filter bars, need to see tool bars. Need to see Folders Panel, etc.

Sorry about that. This is my first time here.
