Lightroom on ipad pro

Hi. One of my main reasons for buying an ipad pro, was so that I would have the latest tool for editing dslr images. I used lightroom for mobile for a few weeks and was really impressed. My understanding was that since October 2015, lightroom for mobile was free to edit raw images on ipad pro, but now I'm getting a message that my trial period has expired. I always shoot in raw, but could it be that only jpg images can be edited for free with lightroom for mobile ? I don't need the sync option, just basic raw editing.

I based my original impression on a 9to5mac website :--->

Lightroom for iPad and iPhone are now totally free, no desktop app or subscription needed. One thing Adobe didn't make clear in its recent flurry of product announcements is that its Lightroom for iPad and iPhone apps are now available for anyone to use, free of charge.8 Oct 2015

    -Raw editing

-Selective adjustment tools: radial filter, gradient filter and adjustment brush.
