Lightroom & Photomatx & Nikon D850 issue

I just got a Nikon D850. I have a Mac w/ High Sierra. I used to be able to import into Lightroom, export for editing to Photomatix via the plug-in, then it would automatically re-import into Lightroom. Then when finished editing, do a final export to my Mac folder I chose. Since updating Lightroom, when I re-import the file into Lightroom from Photomatix, do some more edits, then try to export the final image to my desktop, it defaults to export to Photomatix again and I have to re-enter all the settings I want for the final export to my hard drive: (export to Hard Drive, Specify folder, choose file type, enter file sizes, file extentions, etc.). I never had to do this before. It's killing me timewise. Also. I have to import all the files to Lightroom just so I can see the Nef files becuase Adobe hasn't caught up with the Nikon D850 as far as reading the files. It sucks! Anyone else know why everything changed and how I can change it back to the way it worked before?
