Lightroom Reference View Images are very low resolution

This year I noticed the quality of reference view images started to appear as low resolution.  I have been reading other posts about this issue, but haven't found a solution.  Appreciate any suggestions as this feature was critical to me for matching edits.  Attached is a screen grab of what I see.

Using Sony A7Riv body for all images.
