lightroom settings

When I open Lightroom I am unable to navigate due to everything too large.  Not just photos are too large.... the entire program is blowing up everything I see so that I am not able to reduce it to size that I can navigate.  It appears that I need to zoom out but I am not seeing any options for this.  I think I may need to go back to default settings but I am not sure how to do this.  I already tried to uninstall and reinstall with the same results.  If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate.

This is caused by the resolution you have your monitor set to. Open the Display section and set it to the native resolution of your monitor and maybe turn off the scaling feature or set to something less than what it is now set to.

Also in LR in the Preferences on the Interface tab in the Panels section set the Font Size to Auto or 100% and test.
