Lightroom somehow aquired a default export folder

Somehow, LR aquired a permanent default. Every one of my exports with a "choose folder later" option now defauls to a single folder. Used to be it would default to the previous destination, which was conveneint. Now it saved one of my previous folders and I have to choose the destination every time. I removed all my presets and made new ones from scratch. Same thing. And if I make another preset with a specific destination, it starts defaulting to that one too. Any way to fix this?
