lightroom starting strange message

When Lightroom classic(15.1) starts (windows 11) I get one of two messages:

No Photo Selected or

No Photos in Selected Folder.

It then loads the last photo I was lookiing at.

Any thoughts.

That's entirely normal. Those messages come up because the catalog is still loading. Very large catalogs take longer to open than smaller ones. The speed of the drive (fast SSD preferred) also affects the loading time of the catalog.
