Lightroom Storage Options

Hi All,

One of my customers is using Lightoom (creative cloud subscription) and is saving thier catelog on extrnal hard drives. Thier are two users who need to access this catelog and using the extrernal drives has become cumbersome. They have approx 20TB of images and videos.

They have asked me to provide alternate storage options. I would like to provide them a NAS option and also a cloud storage (google drive, dropbox, etc.) option if thats even possible?

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Josh

The LrC catalog must be on a physical hard drive connected to the computer, not a NAS, not A Network Share, not a Network Server, not the Cloud.

The photos and videos (I do not recommend LrC for videos, it is not a video post processor) can be anywhere. They do not need to be on the same physical location as the catalog.

I assume you mean Lightroom Classic (not Lightroom) since you mentioned sharing a catalog. Lightroom Classic does not support catalogs on NAS or in the cloud.

Thanks for the reply. Are there any expanded storage options to accommodate 20TB?

There's a Photography Plan with 1TB Cloud space.

This doesn't work. The Lightroom catalog can be used on network devices.
