Question

Lightroom Sync Frozen

Lightroom sync has frozen.

I have 29 files that are in the list but won’t actually sync. There are no errors listed. I have paused and restarted sync. I have restarted LRC. I have even restarted my computer.

No luck. I am really lost on what to try next.

Thanks!

Mike

Hi Mike, since you have already paused and restarted sync, restarted Lightroom Classic and your computer, here are the next official checks from Adobe's Lightroom Classic sync FAQ, in order:

    1. Check for an All Sync Errors collection in your catalog. If you have one, open it and hover over the images for detailed error information.

    2. View Sync Status on Web: select the Cloud icon at the top right, then select the gear icon to open Lightroom Sync Preferences. Hold Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) to reveal the tab, then select View Sync Status on Web. That view shows the photos with sync issues, so you can take appropriate action there.

If there is no All Sync Errors collection, no sync issue is shown on the web, and the number is still not settling down, Adobe's FAQ says to contact Adobe Customer Support.

One caution from the same page: do not rebuild sync data unless specifically directed by the Adobe team.
