Lightroom sync stuck at 6299 photos

Hello,

I recently started using lightroom (classic) sync again after a perod of not using it due to this issue. In my local activity section of the sync tab i have the (translated) text syncronicing 6299 photos. This have persisted for at least a year probobly more than 1 even though i haven't had any images syncing untill resently. I have previously removed every image that was synced thinking that was the issue but the problem persisted. I have windows 10 and the problem have persisted though lightroom updates so i doubt that is tied to a specific version.
