lightroom tether capture only works in live view, not photo capture

Lightroom V. 15.3 tether capture only works in live view with my Canon R6 II, not photo capture. 

Using Windows 11 current version.

    Thanks for reaching out. The most common cause of the “Live View works, but photo capture fails” issue on the Canon R6 Mark II is related to the camera’s USB connection mode. Please check the following on your camera:

    • Go to Menu → USB Connection App

    • Set it to “Photo Import/Remote Control” and press SET

     

    Additionally, make sure:

    • No other application is currently using or blocking the camera connection

    • You perform a clean reset of the tethered connection:

      • Power off the camera

      • Disconnect the USB cable

      • Restart Lightroom Classic

      • Reconnect the camera and power it back on

     

    These steps usually help restore proper tethered capture functionality. Let us know how it goes.

    It didn’t work.Photo import was already lit in blue, but I pressed SET anyway. All my other apps were closed, unless there’s something running in background that I’m not aware of.I’m using a 5GB Tether Tools 15’ cable.
