Lightroom to PS2024 Workflow (via Rosetta) - Problem

Just upgraded to Macstudio M2.  Now using latest versions of LR CC and PS 2024.  I purchased Creative Panel which must be run with Legacy/Extensions, so I needed to change PS 2024 setting to open via Rosetta. Also made same changee to LR CC.  When I open PS directly, the Extensions drop down, with Creative Panel is there.  However, my normal workflow is to start in LR CC, make lighting changes, etc, then, 'edit in' PS 2024 to take it to PS.  When I close/save file, it goes back to LR.

Problem is opening PS this way must not be via Rosetta since PS 2024 no longer shows the Extensions drop down thart I need to open the Creative Panel (and some other Legacy plug ins etc, I had loaded, but can't use in PS without the Extensions option.

I've posted this to Creative Panel folks too, but I'm wondering if there is any easy workaround to this, or if I've missed something.

Thanks

one thing you might experiment with (untested, no guarantees from me!):

Set up an additional external editing preset and use that (by name; this appears under Edit In:) to take an image into PS. This initiates a different workflow between LrC and PS - the same as happens when LrC and PS are not of contemporary versions.

The difference from the usual workflow being, that  LrC first renders and saves the working file itself, and only then is PS told to start up and open this file. For there on everything is the same.

So that option may operate more like what's happening when starting up PS yourself, and then opening an image.

Now using latest versions of LR CC

Whenever a member states CC it is very questionable if the member is actually working with the current product. Adobe stopped  referring to Lightroom in any media as CC. They still talk about the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App as CC, but not Lightroom, Lightroom for iPAD, Lightroom Classic, or any PS products. Using the term CC makes us suspect you have Lr 6.14, from many tears ago.

As you are on a M2 MAC, it would be impossible to be running that old Lr 6, but...

Oh, and the use of Rosetta in Adobe went the way of the DoDo bird some time back, so wondering about those versions.

So, it is always best to state in your post the exact version. Is this LrC v13.0.1?
