Lightroom Undoing Removals - requiring update removal each time

Any removals I made with the heal tool keep undoing every time I close and re-open the app. It says "some remove settings need to be updated"

The AI masks and other AI data are stored in 'catalogname.lrcat-data'. Sometimes this file gets corrupted or the permissions get faulted. What you can do is move this file out of the catalog folder, so Lightroom will rebuild it. It means you will once again have to update AI, but then the updates should stick and you should not be asked to do this over and over again.
