Lightroom update from 7.0 to 7.1?

Can't update from Lightroom 7.0 to 7.1

CC Desk top app will not update or uninstall. I need LR 7.1 to read Sony aR7 III raw files.

I got Photoshop to work with Camera Raw 10.1, but LR 7.0 wont update to 7.1.

If I try to update CC desktop app it just spins in updating mode. Trying to uninstall the CC app failed.
