Lightroom wants to update but no update available

This morning when I opened Lightroom it said in order to continue syncing I have to update it. I opened the Creative Cloud app and it tells me everything is up to date. I also have a side note that since the last update, Lightroom refuses to close. I say close and nothing happens. I have to force quit it if I want it to close. So I did that this time and when I opened it it would not give me the message about updating again but nothing is syncing to the cloud. I have an iMac and it's all up to date. I'm kinda new to Mac so I'm really at a loss as to what I need to do. Thanks

    First update the Creative Cloud app, and see if that resolves it.

    If not, use the CC app to uninstall LR, then install LR again, still using the CC app. The version should be 2015.12. You can check this in LR by going to Help > System Info and reading the first line.

    Thank you - I have re-downloaded Creative Cloud and told it to install but I'm not sure if it's doing it.  What version should I have?  I have 4.3.0.256.  I do have the incorrect version of Lightroom, I have 2015.10.  So far no luck but I can't uninstall Lightroom at least until after I finish this wedding I'm working on.  Last time I had to do that it was a super mess and took forever, even though I had everything saved like preferences and stuff.

    The current version of Lightroom is 2015.12. But on the Mac you need to check if your OS version supports the latest Lr version.
