Lightroom will not update unless mouse moves out of the window.

Strange issue, lightroom classic will not make any changes while the window is active, I can zoom in, change things and nothing will show up or even zoom in until I move the mouse outside of the window. This is the same in full screen or in a window.. This is extremely bad, I'm trying to edit some photographs and I can't work like this.
