Question

lightroom (windows 10) ne démarre pas

Bonjour,
merci d'avance

What happens if you find the catalog file using Windows Explorer (file name ends with .LRCAT, probably in lower case) and then in Windows Explorer you double-click on the file? Does the catalog file open that way?

I did it and the same thing always happens, i.e. the message: Lightroom:
opening the BD catalog DEMO-V12.lrcat. It looks for a few seconds and then
nothing. It's the same message even if I try to open a catalog that has a
different name

And what happens if you try to create a new catalog, as shown on the screen capture provided by @Ian Lyons ?

Go to the Preferences in LrC and click on General. It sounds like you have Default Catalog set to open that catalog and LrC is having trouble finding it. If you still want to be opening that catalog, choose Other in that drop-down menu and browse to its current location (I hope there is now only one location) and select it.

(If you had a Mac, you'd need to hold Option when launching LrC to bring up the dialog box to choose a catalog.) But I think changing your Preference for Default Catalog will fix the issue so you won't need to bring up that dialog box.

The dialog that @F. McLion is referring to should look similar to attached screenshot.

Open LrC while holding the "Ctrl" key. This opens a dialog where you can see all known catalogs, can test their integrity, and also select which one to start.

To check the LrC installation, you may also try to create a new, empty catalog to see if it works.
