lightroom without internet

Question

Hi, I plan to use Lightroom when traveling; I will have my laptop and a 5TB  external hard drive.  Can I use the classic Lightroom, or do I use mobile Lightroom? I don't want to download it to my hard drive but use it with an external device. Thx. Any suggestion?

Lightroom Classic works fine without internet for 30 days or more (the "more than 30 days" is allowed if you pay annually), as long as your subscription is paid the last time you were connected to the internet.

Not sure what you mean, or how this is relevant. Please explain further.
