Lightroom won't import ANY Photos.

Lighroom shows no photos in import dialog no matter what source or destination is selected. I have no idea what to do. Please help!

I expanded the "Destination" section in the right hand column and then they all appeared... I don't see the advantage of having it designed like that. Seems like it would make more sense if the photos appeared whether "Destination" was expanded or collapsed.

Yes, it makes no sense to me either, but it has been that way for many years, and it doesn't appear that Adobe will "fix" it.
