Lightroom won't launch on updated mac OS 26.5.2

Whenever I want to launch/ open Lightroom on my mac OS the icon pops up briefly in the toolbar before disappearing.

 

I updated the computer software, uninstalled and reinstalled the app from Adobe Creative Cloud, did the shift + option combination, gave full disk access, but the problem remains. 

As a photographer, this is VERY problematic in this high season.. HELP!

    There are at least three people reporting that by letting it run overnight, then LrC appears properly and works fine after that (including loading in a reasonable time). If you don’t get a solution, you might as well try this tonight. Yes I realize it is an unpleasant way to solve the problem, but like I said it has worked for some.

    Thanks for reporting this, and I’m sorry to hear you’re running into it during your busy season.
     

    I had a chance to check the screenshot/video link you shared, but it appears the Google Drive permissions are restricted. Could you please update the sharing settings so that Anyone with the link can view and share the updated link?
     

    I also noticed that your Adobe account has dual profiles (Business and Personal). Could you please make sure you’re signed in with your Personal profile, then check whether Lightroom launches?
     

    A few more questions that will help narrow this down:

    • Does this issue occur only with Lightroom, or are other Adobe apps also failing to launch?

    • Is this your personal Mac, or is it managed/configured by your company or organization?

    • Are you using any antivirus, endpoint security, or FileVault/disk security software?
       

    As another troubleshooting step, could you create a new administrator user account on your Mac, sign into that account, install/launch Lightroom, and let us know if the issue occurs there as well?

    That will help us determine whether the issue is specific to your current macOS user profile or system-wide.
