I've used new and old SD cards and restarted everything but it uploads blanks that are taking up storage but sont let me delete them. It seems ever since the update I run into more and more problems. I try to export now and nothing happens.

Hey @smoltog. Welcome to the Lightroom community. I'll help you figure this out.

Before anything else, ensure Lightroom Classic has the required permissions on the macOS: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/quick-tips-how-to-give-full-disk-access-to-lightroom-classic-on-macos/td-p/12913413

What specific version of macOS are you working on? Have you tried using a different card temporarily? Do you use USB hub extensions?

Try the import operation with the following suggestions:

  • Copy images on the internal drive manually using the Finder first & then try to import.
  • If you're using any, plug the card directly into the machine instead of the USB hub.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Hello,

I'm working on Mac OS Monteray and i used 3 different cards and its 100% a lightroom issue. I dont have any usb hub extensions.

I am still unable to export, the export dialog doesn't even pop up no matter how many times I click the button. Direct import from computer then to Lightroom also doesn't work!

I'm very frustrated with adobe right now especially since it made me update it and nothing has gone right since.
