Lightroom Classic 15.11:

It appears that when I clicked “update” to move from 15.1 to 15.11 somethig went wromg. All of a dden it would not launch Lightroom Classic, independantly or fromAdobe CC. The logs for the crash are in the attachments.

Re-installed everything, cleared everything I can think of clearing, restarted 50 times. PS launches just fine. ( can’t attach, this is the Lightroom Console from today:-

    Correct answer BobSmifff

I fixed it by looking in the events log and finding which file it could not find. The file in question  (i can't remember which one) was present in the right path. I just renamed it and relaunched . Voila! All good. Thanks for asking.

    Hi @BobSmifff,

First, I’m really sorry for the delayed response. Are you still experiencing the crash when launching Lightroom Classic?

We recently released Lightroom Classic 15.2. Please update to that version and test whether the issue persists.

If it still crashes after updating, submit the crash report when the dialog appears, and make sure to enter the same email ID you use here in the community. Let me know once you’ve done that.

That will allow us to locate your crash logs internally and investigate further. Looking forward to your update.

    Best,

    Anshul Saini

@BobSmifff you’d be better off reporting the issue in the Lightroom Classic forum
