Lightrrom Classic

I downloaded the most recent version of Lightroom Classic and the ICON appears on my desktop, but will not open when I try to open it.

How did you "Download"?  Adobe apps are all installed by using the Creative Cloud Desktop App which does the download and install automatically.

I have never experienced a LrC icon being installed on my windows desktop and do not expect to see one. ( I have to create a windows shortcut icon for my desktop). (Maybe a Mac is different)

 

Please include the following in your question:
Adobe product and Version number.
A Screenshot of the info panel from MENU: Help/System Info...
Operating system and Version number
The full text of any Error Message(s)
What you were doing when the problem occurred
Screenshots of the problem.

Restart your computer.

Right click on Desktop Icon.  Select More > Run as Administrator
