Ligthroom Classic 6.15 Crashes when connected to the internet

Hello,

I was trying to update Windows Classic 6.15 so that it would recognize the images from my new Nikon Z6 ii.

The program crashed and when I tried to restart it I got the message that the catalogue was incomplete and Lightroom had to fix it. This message flashed for a second the program opened for about 4 seconds and then crashed. I tried it numerous times and same result.

I tried to open with "alt" and open a new catalog and same result... I also tested the integrity of the catalog and it seemed fine...

I deleted the program and reinstalled it with the same result....several times...

Finally... and this is the kicker, I think... I tried to run the program offline and it seems to run perfectly.

As soon as I connect to the internet the program crashes.

When I deleted the program, I deleted it through Creative Cloud and now when I go into Creative cloud Lightroom 6 is no longer there... It was there when the program was crashing so I don't think that the present crash is tied to it not being listed under my desktop apps.

So my problem is two fold- or maybe 3

1. How do I re-register or get Lightroom 6 to show up in my cloud account list of apps?(I can't register through the program because as soon as I go online it crashes)

2. How do I get Lightroom 6 to continue to run and not crash while I'm online?
3. I re-installed Lightroom 6.0 but can't update because the program crashes as soon as I sign onto the internet...

thanks,
David

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.

Some comments-

1) Do you pay a subscription regularly? Lr-Classic is only available by subscription.

2) There never was a Lightroom-Classic v6.15.  6.14  (CC2015) was the last of v6.

3) v6 was available as Perpetual Lightroom 6.14 or Subscription  Lr- CC2015.

4) Adobe Cloud Sync requires a Minimum of Version 10.4 of Lightroom-Classic.

5) If you install the Creative Cloud Desktop App the v6 becomes the subscription version, so back to comment 1).

6) If you subscribe why are you not at Version 11.5?

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.3, Photoshop 27.5, ACR 18.3, Lightroom 9.3, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.3 .

I don't have a subscription(and maybe it was version 6.14).... it's the non-subscription perpetual version

"it's the non-subscription perpetual version"

Then-

1) You cannot 'update' v6.14 (unless you Subscribe to the Photography Plan 20GB) $9.99 PHOTOGRAPHY PLAN (USA)

2) With the Creative Cloud Desktop App installed you will not be able to run Lr as v6.14. You may need to 'Clean' your system with the Cleaner Tool then re-install v6.14 with your Serial Number. CLEANER TOOL LINK

3) A crashed catalog requires the restore from a backup catalog.

4) The Z6ii raw files will only be useful in v6.14 if you first convert the NEFs to DNGs with the DNG Converter. DNG LEGACY SUPPORT

5) Nothing with v61.4 can be done online. (No Sync, etc) 'Activation' of v6 can only be done by a Chat with Adobe staff. Activation or Deactivation versions of Lightroom
