Linear Gradient Mask Tool Ruined

Hi did anyone else notice that adobe made the linear gradient mask tool was changed to way over simplify it? its not longer a usable tool and cant be set/changed easily like the old version. please please please go back to the old version.

If you mean that the edit sliders are missing, then click the exposure triagnle beside 'Tone', etc to expose the slider groups.

Didn't happen.

 

Please explain and describe what you see; words like "ruined" and "Oversimplify" really don't help us understand what you see.

I haven't seen any differences either. Do you have Show Edit Pins set to Never in the Toolbar? Change that to Auto or use the keyboard shortcut 'H' to hide/show the Edit pins and the lines.

I use this tool very often and I don't see any changes in the last updates. 

Please describe more exactly what issues do you have with the masks. If possible post also some screenshots.
