Linear/Radial Gradient Exposure No Longer Works in LR Clasic 15.1

My Linear/Radial Gradient Mask no longer works with Exposure, Clarity, Hue, Saturation LR Classic 15.1 as of the last update. Worked before, now the slider is greyed out if I want to use those. The other choices the slider works. Yes it turns red on/off with the O key or shift M.

Hi @Bruce Henriksen,

Thanks for the details. I just want to confirm a few things and help narrow this down. I tested this on Lightroom Classic 15.1 on macOS, and Linear and Radial Gradients with Exposure, Clarity, Hue, and Saturation are working as expected on my end.

In addition to what dj_paige suggested, could you please try the following:
 • Create a new test catalog and import a new image, then test the Linear/Radial Gradient there. This helps rule out catalog-specific issues.
 • Check the Mask Amount slider at the top of the mask panel. If the amount is set to 0, Lightroom will grey out all adjustment sliders for that mask.
 • Confirm whether this happens with all images or only specific ones

If possible, please also share a short screen recording showing:
 • Importing a fresh image into a new catalog
 • Creating the mask
 • The point where the sliders become greyed out

That will help us better understand the exact workflow leading to this behavior.

Looking forward to your update.

Best regards,
Anshul Saini

Why didn't I think of that? Great suggestion!

Can you please show us a screen capture by using the "Insert Photos" icon (do NOT attach files).

Please provide the information shown when you issue the menu command Help->System Info.

What types of photos are these (RAW, DNG, JPG)? Have you used any Lightroom Classic AI tools (like Denoise, Distraction Removal, etc.) on these images?
