literoom classic file could not be found issue

after I edited images with photoshop from literoom classic, it's save to lite room classic for a couple of hours or a day, but next day when I reopen literoom classic, all the photos that I edited with photoshop are gone, literoom shows as error.  file could not be found.  what should I do?

Are these images in a cloud synced folder like iCloud, Dropbox or OneDrive perhaps? These cloud sync services often have a 'cloud only' option, where the files are (only) stored in the cloud, and just a link is kept locally. Lightroom Classic cannot work with such images. It needs the real image to be stored locally.

Could you share a bit more about what’s going on? It’d be helpful to know which versions of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop you’re using. Also, how are you opening your images from Lightroom Classic into Photoshop, and how are you saving them afterward?

If you’re able to share a few more details or even some screenshots of your workflow, that would really help us get a clearer idea of what might be causing the issue.
