Locating/transferring Lr files after PC dead

It has been several years since I've done anything with LR. After a high-risk multiples pregnancy then ending up with congestive heart failure, I haven't touched my PC in years. If I can remember correctly I was running LR 5.7(?). No update to CC as of yet. While attempting to work on the old PC last week, something happened and it died. Luckily the hard drive is still accessible. Without having the program operational, how do I find where the LR catalogs are located on the original hard drive? The PC tech I'm working with transferred the basic folders and documents to an external drive, but I need to know what to tell him in detail so he can transfer the entirety of my collections over to LR on my new PC. Thank you.

Here are a couple of links that may be helpful for your tech:

You'll need to obtain the LR 5.7.1 installer link from Adobe Support as the links are no longer public. Have your tech go to the below link and start a chat session to obtain the installer link. He may need your LR 5 serial number.

If this was a PC then the catalog and associated files will most likely be located in a folder in Pictures\Lightroom. All of the files in that folder, including the catalog, will be used by Lightroom to access the images. The images should remain in the folders that they were in on your old computer, in the same folder configuration. That will be the quickest and easiest way for a new installation of Lightroom to start functioning again.
